Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as JIRA Administrator.
- Strong experience in JIRA Configuration, Management, Integration, Support, Optimization.
- Strong experience in Agile and KANBAN Development frameworks and Project Management.
- Experience in writing custom JQL (JIRA Query Language).

Responsibilities:
Configuration and Management
- Install, configure, and maintain the Jira instance.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Create and manage projects, boards, filters, dashboards, and reports.
- Configure workflows, issue types, screens, and custom fields.
- Manage security schemas and issue schemas.
- Ensure the availability and performance of Jira.
- Perform system and application administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs.
- Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
Integration and Support
- Integrate Jira with other applications and tools.
- Provide technical expertise and training to users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and users.
- Monitor system health and performance.
Best Practices and Optimization:
- Implement and maintain best practices for Jira administration.
- Identify and lead best practice maintenance activities.
- Reduce customization, archive data, and perform user and group audits.
- Research and utilize industry-standard methods and techniques.
- Establish operational and environmental KPIs and dashboards.
Specific Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile and Kanban development frameworks and project management.
- Experience with IT Service Management and Incident & Problem management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
- Experience in writing custom JQL (Jira Query Language).
