The candidate for this role will have significant work experience in wireless or telecom development as well as a strong background in Embedded Software Development. You will be part of an organization that consists of Software, Hardware, FPGA, and System teams. Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building a product from the ground up, while working with colleagues across the business to ensure client products always lead the way.

You will:Lead development of certain features for 5G radio software based on architecture and system requirementsFocus on managing and maintaining CI/CD Lab infrastructure and automation framework supporting developmentLearn and contribute to the development of emerging open protocolsWork hand in hand with embedded hardware and systems teams in the development of Radios

Essential Requirements:5+ years of software development experience in a professional environmentWorking knowledge of Linux based operating systems-especially kernel customizations and configuration, device tree customizations, uboot configuration, memory provisioning, etc.Solid understanding of different device interfaces i2c, gpio, memory mapped devices and protocols for memory access DMA engines, HSSI, etc.Familiarity working with embedded systemsYocto based toolchain/build experienceExperience with ARM architecturesCareer experience in low level drivers written in CKnowledge/experience with FPGA subsystemsWork on radios and knowledge of radio protocols like PTP, SyncE, Radio Transceiver Interfaces, PHY/MAC/ETH, 5G Digital Front End, ORAN, etc.General networking/protocol and telecom knowledgePython/C++ Development ExperienceExperience working with NETCONF & YANG based applications Desirable Requirements:Knowledge of 4G/5G Radio SW subsystems architectureKnowledge of ORAN WG4 (Open Fronthaul interface) Stefanini takes pride in hiring top talent and developing relationships with our future employees.
