A Lead Administrator - Mainframe

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in mainframe technologies and production support. As a Lead Administrator - L1, you will:

• Provide extensive support in architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects within the mainframe environment.
• Lead the structural and architectural design of mainframe systems to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including issue troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
• Develop disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Seeked Profile:

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

• Extensive experience in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and File Aid for mainframe applications.
• Proficiency in DML, DDL activities verification, Cobol JCL, and batch operations.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for root cause analysis.
• Experience in Unix or z/OS, including file permission commands.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and service request management.
• Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.

Willingness to work in different shift timings as required.
