Description

SAIC is looking for a Program Analyst to support a Navy contract located in N. Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Project Manager in developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • Evaluate and present alternatives for establishing or changing the budget allocations for new or existing projects.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares all weekly monthly and quarterly contractual reports per the Statement of Work.
  • Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.
  • Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.
  • Provides backup support to other Analysts during surge periods
  • Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other related field and three (3) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required Clearance:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust

Required Skills

  • Microsoft Office - Excellent abilities utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Some working knowledge in Microsoft Project a plus.
  • Must be attentive to detail, extremely well organized, strong time management skills, able to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet frequent deadlines.
  • Strong research and Analysis skills a must.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate well both orally and written.
