About The Role

The Senior Vice President (SVP), Insights and Research is a strategic leader responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You are a data savvy leader to oversee consumer, market, and competitive research to inform business strategy and product development initiatives. You will lead a high-performing team, leverage advanced analytics, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

You Will: Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the company’s research and insights strategy to support business objectives.
  • Lead a team of researchers, data analysts, and strategists to uncover meaningful insights.
  • Serve as a thought leader, advising executive leadership on industry trends, customer behavior, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and strategy teams to ensure insights drive business growth.

Consumer and Market Research

  • Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, ethnographic studies, and behavioral analytics.
  • Conduct deep dives into consumer trends, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics.
  • Develop segmentation models and personas to optimize targeting and customer engagement.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage advanced analytics, AI, and big data to enhance insights and forecasting capabilities.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to executive leadership, ensuring insights are actioned for optimization and strategic pivots
  • Oversee measurement frameworks to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, technology, and finance, to ensure insights inform strategic priorities.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Foster a data-driven culture by educating teams on best practices in research and analytics.

Innovation and Emerging Trends

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and shifting consumer behaviors.
  • Identify and implement innovative research tools, methodologies, and data sources.
  • Advocate for the integration of predictive analytics and AI-driven insights.

You Have

  • 15+ years of experience in market intelligence, consumer insights, publishing analytics, or a related field, with 7+ years in executive leadership roles.
  • Strong track record in qualitative and quantitative consumer research, leading large-scale audience segmentation, market sizing, and predictive analytics.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize data and translate insights into strategic recommendations that identify growth opportunities, drive revenue and player engagement.
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team to leverage AI, data analytics, and machine learning to predict consumer trends and optimize business decisions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to present complex data narratives to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive business decisions using data.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools.
