Position Summary

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for oversight of new features and bug fixes through the development process and contributing to discovery and definition of third-party integration projects. You will work closely with the Director of Product, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of technology platforms that meet the needs of our clients and internal users.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and communications with third-party integration platforms to ensure BIP Wealth gets the greatest value from its partnership investments and minimizes time to launch for new integrations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Product to define product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
  • Work with development teams to prioritize and refine product backlog items, ensuring that requirements are clear, concise, and actionable.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to the Director of Product and executive leadership.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the development process, working with stakeholders and development teams to find effective solutions.
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback from clients, using insights to inform product development decisions.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product roadmap and backlog.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, engineering, computer science).
  • At least 2 years of experience in product management or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
  • Experience integrating platforms with third-party APIs
  • Preference for experience having worked at a FinTech or SaaS company
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing agile development processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relay complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience conducting user research and gathering customer feedback.
  • Knowledge of product management tools such as JIRA.
  • A deep understanding of the product development process, including product discovery, design, development, and launch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction and product excellence.
