Piper Companies is seeking an Extended Expertise Consultant - SD WAN to join a premier cyber security organization. This is a senior, extremely technical, hands-on, customer facing role that has an immediate and directly measurable impact on our product with customers and partners. The ideal candidate for this position will thrive at taking extremely complex, brittle customer environments and
revolutionizing them using our product - all while navigating the nuances and complexities of customer requirements and needs. This is not an administrative or configuration position. Recent deployment and migration of Palo Alto firewalls is required.
Responsibilities of the Extended Expertise Consultant include:
Perform deployments of Palo Alto Networks SASE products, including Prisma Access and CloudGenix SD-WAN, as coordinated through the Professional Services Project Management Organization.
Lead the customer through the engagement process from planning, configuration, deployment and verification.
Submitting post-install documentation as required and providing closure concerning any remaining action items.
Make key product and solution recommendations around ease of use and represent customer needs.
Ensure customers maintain their SASE products with consideration of best practices.
Qualifications for theExtended Expertise Consultant include:
Application Performance Monitoring expertise - Response time metrics, Application
identification.
Packet capture analysis / fault isolation and remediation
In-depth knowledge and deployment experience of SD-WAN and Remote Access
technologies and Network Security expertise (IPS/IDS, ZBFW, NGFW)
In-depth IP Routing protocol expertise (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and Implementation of Legacy WAN solutions (MPLS, Leased Line, Frame Relay, Satellite,Internet VPN, ECMP, DMVPN)
Compensation for the Extended Expertise Consultant includes:

- Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
