We are seeking an IT Product Manager II to join our team located in Minneapolis, MN. The role will be within the digital shopping industry, focusing on enhancing the online experience through personalized product recommendations. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive product roadmap for recommendation services and data augmentation, aligning with business objectives and customer requirements.
Collaborate with various teams to refine the product roadmap, ensuring the seamless integration and delivery of recommendation services.
Lead product lifecycle management in close partnership with the engineering team.
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback, data analysis, and market trends.
Drive the improvement of datasets and machine learning models to enhance recommendation accuracy.
Utilize data-driven insights to understand user behavior and preferences and use these insights to optimize recommendation services.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize recommendation algorithms, focusing on enhancing the user experience by delivering personalized and relevant recommendations.
Conduct A/B testing and user research to optimize recommendation data.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to continuously refine and optimize recommendation algorithms.
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, positioning recommendations as their source of truth for product recommendations with a focus on growing internal usage quarter-over-quarter.
Requirements
Machine Learning Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in research and data analysis
Proven ability in maintaining and improving quality standards
Strong background in project management
Ability to deliver effective presentations
Experience in workstation support
Proven ability to implement strategies
Strong leadership skills
Familiarity with hiring processes
Knowledge in digital technologies and engineering
Experience in optimization processes
Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
Experience in dealing with stakeholders
Proficient in Python and Java
Familiarity with cloud technologies
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Experience in KPI Reporting
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Strong prioritization skills
Proficiency in relevant IT tools and softwares
Understanding of IT principles and best practices.
