We are actively recruiting someone to help support and lead the IT Helpdesk for our client in the Tampa, Florida area. This is a direct placement opportunity that will require working onsite in Oldsmar. This position requires a candidate with excellent verbal communication and troubleshooting skills. In this role, you will not need to be the technical expert, as you will be supported by the infrastructure teams.

Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional IT helpdesk services to internal customers through phone, email, or in-person interactions

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues on Windows-based systems

Manage user accounts and group policies using Active Directory (AD)

Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues

Ensure general network security by monitoring and responding to security events

Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues

Document all interactions, issues, and resolutions in a detailed and accurate manner

Stay up to date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies

Some occasional travel in the region may be required
