Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and strategic Marketing Project Manager to join the WM brand team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of creative strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance our brand meaning and achieve business goals. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of brand communication, and a passion for driving impactful marketing initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Manage end-to-end execution of marketing projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure marketing programs align with overall brand and business strategies.

  • Serve as a liaison between the brand & marketing team and WM market areas, facilitating collaboration on creative materials and resolving any issues that may arise.

  • Maintain, enhance and protect the brand's image and consistency across all marketing touchpoints.

  • Conduct regular meetings and status updates to keep stakeholders informed of project status, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Analyze project outcomes and provide insights for continuous improvement of processes, workflows and alignment to organizational policies and procedures.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing project management, applying knowledge to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.



Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience: Five years of project management experience. Four years of relevant work experience.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced knowledge or skills in one or more of the following required:

Proven track record of successfully managing and executing brand and marketing campaigns that drive business growth.


Strong understanding of brand development, positioning, and identity principles.


Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.


Proficiency in marketing analytics and tools to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.


Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.


Presenting, communicating and articulating effectively to all levels of the organization (including technical and non-technical audiences, Senior Leadership, VPs and C-Level Executives).


Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation in branding and marketing.


Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or related fields is a plus.


Agile project management methodologies.


Project planning and budgeting.


Contract management and procurement.


Ability to create, own and present executive level presentations or communications.


May require advanced skills in one or more of the following:


Written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills.


Successfully leading a project team reach its business objectives within set timeframes.


Attention to detail.


Analytical and qualitative abilities.
