Manufacturing Project Manager

Job Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain existing and develop new customer account relationships.
• Manage and grow team of 5 to 10 Manufacturing Support Engineers.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials and documents for new proposals.
• Maintain and monitor team performance, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Address any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, deficits as needed.
• Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Ensure team performance and project deadlines are met.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Facilitate team Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Support projects team and employee engagement activities.

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Bachelor s Degree in a STEM discipline or Project Management or equivalent
• Broad understanding of manufacturing process for both mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Highly developed business development abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage engineering projects in a customer facing, fast paced, highly technical environment
• Solid oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Master s Degree in Business Administration
• Heavy equipment or transportation equipment design and/or manufacturing experience.

Work Experience: 5-7 years
