Wiley University is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Student Development. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, collaborative, and responsible individual who is responsible for assisting in student programming, co-advising the Royal Court and Student Government Association, other student leaders, and assisting with intramural sports. This position reports to the Director of Student Development. This position requires considerable contact with students through individual, group meetings, workshops, and other student programming. The Coordinator of Student Development is expected to be passionate about student development and student life. The position will require extensive night and some weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating student programming events and activities
- Co-advise the royal court, SGA, and other student organizations as assigned
- Serve as a resource for students seeking guidance and support
- Collaborate with other university departments to enhance the overall student experience
- Utilize Maxient to support the department
- Assist with intramural sports leagues and/or tournaments
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Sociology, Psychology, Education, Higher Education, Counseling, or a related area in Student Development
One Year of Work Experience working with college students.
Work Hours:
10 am – 7 pm
