Job Description

A premier California employee-owned mechanical contractor seeks a Site Safety Manager for their Arizona Branch office. This individual will primarily support their scope of work at Intel and the ASU Semiconductor Research Park. They will plan, implement, and supervise project safety in accordance with Federal, State, and local Health and Safety regulations, and Environment (HSE) regulations, site safety, and corporate policies.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in managing a safety program
  • CHST and/or OSHA 510
  • Mechanical back ground

Soft Skills

  • Oversee and lead safety managers and safety professionals
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents
  • Coordinate with various clients and general contractors
  • Develop and review EHS Project Execution Plans
  • Develop and review Site Specific Plans
  • Develop and review Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA)
  • Review and audit PTPs
  • Review Daily Health and Safety Reports
  • Implement and maintain the safety program
  • Conduct jobsite, warehouse, and office audits
  • Conduct jobsite inspections
  • Perform field walks assessing hazards
  • Perform continuous process improvements for the safety program
  • Collect, track, and monitor safety data points
  • Report to company leadership weekly
  • Upkeep Safety Dashboard
  • Effectively track and conduct safety training
  • Accident / Incident Investigation
  • Submit deliverables to general contractors
  • Cover AZ topics for Monthly Corporate Safety Committee Meeting
  • Lead Branch Safety Committee Meeting
