This is a full-time on-site role for a Development Manager at United Community in Alexandria, VA. The Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing fundraising strategies, managing donor relations, organizing events, and collaborating with the leadership team to achieve fundraising goals while advancing the organization's mission.
- Fundraising, Donor Relations, and Event Planning skills
- Experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Knowledge of nonprofit sector and grant writing
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business Administration)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
