About:

We are seeking a skilled finance manager to support the establishment and management of our U.S. entity's financial operations. This individual will report to the finance headquarters in Israel and collaborate closely with the US general manager and other senior management. The candidate will assist in overseeing financial functions such as accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax compliance, and the implementation of financial policies and procedures. The role also involves supervising the bookkeeping functions.

Responsibilities:

Financial Operations:

  • Assist in managing the financial functions for the U.S. entity to align with corporate objectives and financial goals.
  • Support the orders to cash management process.

Accounting and Reporting of U.S entity:

  • Ensure proper accounting treatments and disclosures in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support the quarterly close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in cost accounting and financial analysis for various projects and programs.

Financial Planning and Analysis of US Activities:

  • Conduct financial planning and analysis, in collaboration with senior management.
  • Responsible for preparing quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and the strategic plan.
  • Prepare analysis of actual results versus forecasts/budgets.
  • Prepare management reports in the performance of business functions.

Tax Compliance and Strategy:

  • Assist in implementing the U.S. tax strategy and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Support tax reporting for federal, state, and other taxes.

Policy Implementation and Compliance:

  • Help implement and maintain financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Assist in compliance with the Sunshine Act, CMS, anti-bribery programs, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development and monitoring of SOX policies and procedures for U.S. operations.

Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA license.
  • MBA is preferred but not required.

Experience (Required):

  • 6+ years of proven accounting experience.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Suite.
  • Commercial and inventory experience.
