AGF Talent is seeking a Clinical Risk Manager for a leading healthcare organization!

About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Risk Manager to oversee and enhance patient safety and risk management initiatives across the organization. This role involves collaboration with department directors and the executive team to implement effective risk reduction strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Patient Safety and Risk Management: Manage claim management, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Lead Patient Safety Council: Incorporate enterprise programs into the broader risk management strategy.
• Develop Risk Reduction Strategies: Collaborate with leadership to align strategies with corporate and facility goals.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to standards like The Joint Commission, CMS/DHS regulations, and hospital policies.
• Analyze and Report Data: Lead data analysis, reporting, and educational efforts related to risk management.
• Provide Leadership: Ensure adherence to best practices in patient safety and risk management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Risk Management, preferably in healthcare.
• Significant understanding of hospital departmental operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hospital policies, Joint Commission Standards, and CMS/DHS regulations.
• Experience with risk management techniques like Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Six Sigma ("Lean") methodologies.
• Understanding of statistical analysis.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
