Position Overview:

We are seeking a curious Junior Developer to join our small team. While Cadet Portfolio is based in Atlanta, GA, this position will primarily be remote with some in-person meetings required. The primary responsibilities of this role include diagnosing and solving issues submitted by users, general website, security, and database maintenance, and actively participating in development team planning sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or developers with 1+ years of experience to grow their technical skills in a collaborative and impactful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users.

Perform general website and database maintenance and optimization tasks.

Support the development team in minor fixes, planning, and problem-solving sessions.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Beginning proficiency in one or more of the following: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, C++, SQL, .NET, and SEO.

Acquainted with SQL, website, and database management.

Knowledge of AWS or other cloud service providers.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to identify issues quickly.

Demonstrates the ability to learn new topics quickly.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a background check.
