Manager of M&A:

We are seeking a talented and experienced M&A Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our company's expansion through strategic acquisitions. As a mid-level manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the initial evaluation and execution of potential M&A opportunities, contributing directly to our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Origination: Proactively identify and assess potential acquisition targets within the utility-scale solar industry, leveraging your network and market research capabilities to source new opportunities.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including valuation modeling, to evaluate the feasibility and strategic fit of potential acquisitions. Assess the financial implications, risks, and synergies associated with each opportunity.
  • Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for prospective acquisitions, coordinating cross-functional teams to evaluate legal, financial, operational, and regulatory aspects of target companies. Identify key issues and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Negotiation and Structuring: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to negotiate deal terms, structure transactions, and draft agreements that maximize value and mitigate risks. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Integration Planning: Partner with post-acquisition integration teams to develop comprehensive integration plans, ensuring seamless integration of acquired assets, operations, and personnel into the client's existing structure.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks that may impact M&A strategy. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity, preferably within the renewable energy or utility sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully executing M&A transactions from deal origination to integration.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
