Job Description:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and passionate Camera/Post Assistant to join our team at Good Boy. This is an entry-level role with the opportunity to grow based on the individual's interests and performance. The position will initially be temporary, with the potential to become permanent.

Primary Responsibilities (50% of time):

  • Camera Gear Management: Track the check-in/out of all camera gear rentals.
  • Shipping Manifests: Build and manage detailed shipping manifests for various projects.
  • Gear Organization: Learn and maintain our in-house gear organization system and protocols.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to gear tracking and organization systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with high-end cinematographers and camera department members.

Secondary Responsibilities (50% of time):

  • Post-Production Assistance: Assist in post-production tasks, such as basic edits, organization of footage, or prepping files for editors.
  • General Office Support: Help with general office upkeep, including administrative tasks.
  • Creative Contribution: Participate in creative tasks as needed, such as brainstorming sessions, assisting on set, or contributing to content development.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Cameras: Enthusiastic about camera gear and the film production industry.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail is a must for tracking and managing equipment.
  • Team Player: Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with various team members.
  • Self-Starter: Able to take initiative, learn new processes, and seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Flexible: Willingness to contribute to various operational and creative tasks.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with camera gear and basic knowledge of film production.
  • Experience in post-production or administrative work.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
