Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Systematix is currently looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to help manage and elevate a diverse global infrastructure for one of the world s leaders in Life Sciences technologies.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is one of the world s leading Life Sciences companies, with offices around the globe. Working as the Lead Infrastructure Engineer for the global infrastructure group, you will be responsible for the implementation of a growing number of services for this global enterprise. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in implementing standards and providing innovative solutions that support the success of our client s collaborative science and technology driven businesses.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Owning the infrastructure build & deploy lifecycle; drastically reducing build, deploy & rollback times while simultaneously reducing risk and exposure.
• Working with key people in our global IT departments to provide secure, reliable Shared Services that you help design, test, implement and support.
• Assessing solution options pertaining to infrastructure, telecommunications, networking and cyber security

ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical field
• 8+ Systems engineer with strong experience with data centers and infrastructure
• Significant expertise in the following technologies: (Azure) Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMWare, SCCM/Intune, Azure Application integrations, Monitoring solutions, scripting with PowerShell and Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
• Experience in successfully delivering large scale services with Azure
• Experience with Network administration and configuration
• Proven track-record of successfully participating in technical implementations of new services as part of a project team.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
• Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities.
• ITIL principles knowledge.
• Azure certification is a strong asset
