Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Supervision: Guide and support both onsite and offsite A/R Analysts, setting clear objectives and performance targets, and providing mentorship and training.
- Process Management: Ensure timely and accurate execution of A/R functions, including invoicing, issuing credit memos, sending account statements, and posting cash receipts.
- Record Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, monitor unapplied cash balances, prepare monthly AR accruals, and ensure accurate quarter and year-end cutoffs. Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting packages and J-Sox compliance.
- Collaboration and Problem Resolution: Work with various departments to resolve discrepancies, assist with customer inquiries, and manage overdue balances.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to AR processes and systems to improve operations.
- Associate’s degree or higher with 7+ years of experience in accounting, focusing on Accounts Receivable, reconciliation, and month-end close.
- Proven leadership skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in PC software, especially Excel and Word.
- Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills, with strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and manage multiple tasks independently.
- Experience with Oracle business software and knowledge of accounting in a manufacturing setting are a plus.
