The Business Intelligence Analyst investigates and disseminates centralized data sources to expand the reliability and scope of the corporate Enterprise Data Warehouse as a source of truth among supported teams. The incumbent is responsible for distilling transactional data down to valuable and relatable KPIs for business partner, with a focus on Gaming Operations. This position is designed to present internal growth opportunities in data architecture, business intelligence, or data science.

  • Provide data direction and education to property analyst teams
  • Work as gatekeeper for all data related inquiries and assure accurate delivery/usage
  • Help facilitate data for advanced analytics/modeling requirements
  • Maintain and escalate data quality practices including local oversight, risk mitigation and resolution procedures
  • Identify, collaborate, and present key data relationships and KPIs that allow the business leaders to better see and understand their operations
  • Monitor data performance and SLA thresholds to assure end-user adoption
  • Work with stakeholders across different areas on new data requirements and definitions
  • Present data findings through multiple qualitative communication platforms

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience in data modeling or quantitative analytics
  • Background with relational databases and intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of cloud data pipelines and technologies
  • Experienced in basics of data warehousing and ETL
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other BI platforms is a plus
  • Awareness of machine learning languages and data modeling (Python) is a plus
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical management
  • This job does not have supervisory responsibilities
