We are seeking an experienced IT Coordinator with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in IT project work. This role involves coordinating the logistics and deployment of IT infrastructure, including equipment, networks, and systems, across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will not be a Project Manager but will have strong organizational skills, experience collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and the ability to maintain project schedules, documentation, and issue logs. Proficiency in troubleshooting, resolving IT incidents, and supporting IT services is essential. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, and knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus. responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates the logistics and deployment of IT equipment, including low voltage wiring, telephone systems, point of sale devices, sound systems, IP Camera equipment, and in-store network infrastructure across North American stores.
- Maintains and distributes project schedules to internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensures issue logs are accurately maintained during project roll-outs.
- Provides comprehensive status reports for each project to internal partners, stakeholders, and Store Implementation management.
- Recommends project scope changes to management, considering budget and risk factors.
- Attends project meetings and prepares meeting minutes and presentations.
- Organizes and maintains all project documentation and files.
- Tracks project success metrics, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, timeline, and strategic expectations for both internal and client needs.
- Ensures incident tickets are resolved or appropriately actioned within a timely manner.
- Conducts troubleshooting over the phone to resolve issues before involving third-party vendors.
- Responds to customer inquiries and resolves them as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Collaborates with global partners to support business operations.
- Contributes to technical and process documentation, such as user guides and knowledge articles.
- Assists in implementing best practices to support new or modified IT services and processes at a low level of complexity.
- Adheres to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and all applicable Client Company standards.
Software Skills:
- Microsoft Office (basic Excel experience required; Excel will be used the most)
- ServiceNow (preferred but not required; training will be provided)
