Job Title: HR Coordinator

Job Description

This position handles the tactical aspects of HR functions. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties at a professional level and works closely with HR management to support designated geographic regions. Responsibilities include assisting with onboarding, employee relations, recruitment, HRIS management, personnel records, training, benefits administration, and policy implementation.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Collaborate with the Plant HR Team to provide HR support to the facility.
  • Be accessible as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns, payroll questions, benefits questions and other HR concerns. Partner with the HR team to determine next resolutions.
  • Onboarding: Host new employee orientation and enter the new hire into the HRIS, I9, eVerify and other new hire processes.
  • Maintains accurate HR records including the HRIS system, org charts, I-9s and additional compliance requirements.
  • Partner with HR to record employee changes in HRIS and Personnel files for changes including promotions, manager changes and shift changes. Maintain accurate HR forms and personnel files.
  • Assist in recruiting initiatives including hiring events.
  • Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
  • Support in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date job descriptions for all active positions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (related field) PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • 2+ years’ human resource experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with Excel
  • ATS and CRM software experience
