Position Overview:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in executing digital marketing campaigns to engage and attract guests. This position will be responsible for managing digital content, social media platforms, email marketing, and other digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be creative, data-driven, and have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Develop, curate, and manage content across all digital platforms, including the website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Social Media: Create and schedule engaging posts across all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.), respond to comments and messages, and monitor social media performance.
  • Email Marketing: Assist in the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and digital marketing metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including paid social and display advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), and influencer partnerships.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital content aligns with Kings Dominion’s brand guidelines and voice.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, creative team, and other departments to support park events, promotions, and other initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engagement.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the amusement park, entertainment, or hospitality industry is a plus.
