Job Title: Project Scheduler
Job Duration: 3+ Months (Temp to hire)
Est. Pay Range: $ 70/hr
Location: Auburn, CA (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Project Scheduler
Job requirements:
1. Expert in Primavera, P6 for schedule creation, update and management.
2. Senior scheduler with 10+ yrs of experience with some of that experience in portfolio level scheduling in addition to project level scheduling.
3. Work with Planning team on project initiation and build Initial schedules based on the Long Term Planning Process (LTP) and standard project templates
4. Work with Planning team to hand over initiation stage schedules to the project Execution team (Project Manager, Project Management Analyst and Project Schedule).
5. Work with all execution PMs/PMAs on developing new project schedules that are re-occurring work or emergent work.
6. Maintain and update changes to the master P6 project templates.
7. Understand the Project templates in detail and provide guidance to project schedulers as required.
8. Review execution portfolio for accuracy and proper coding.
9. QA/QC project level and Program level schedules
10. Train new schedulers on project templates, logic and procedure and occasionally provide coverage for schedulers during vacations.
11. Act as a "Bridge" between the initial planning team and the project execution team
12. Ability to communicate with project team, project managers, schedulers, project management analyst, permitting, licensing and other stakeholders on as required basis .
13. Manage P6 Database - assist with maintenance and periodic cleanup of the database.
14. Ability to lead scheduling process, procedure and templates improvement initiatives to support the supervisor.
15. Perform other work as assigned by the Supervisor.
16. Location ? PGE Auburn Office. Ability to go to PG&E's Auburn office once (1) a week. Occasionally will be required to travel to other PGE sites (Redding, Chico, Aubery) on as needed basis.
