Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Employment Type: Contract W2 Only

Job Overview: The Senior SAP FICO Consultant will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP FICO solutions that meet our business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of financial modules, providing expertise in S/4 HANA, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Controlling (CO) processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP ECC and experience in full life-cycle implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP FICO Implementation:
• Lead and manage the full life-cycle implementation of SAP FICO modules, including S/4 HANA, GL, AP, AR, CO, OTC, and P2P.
• Configure and customize SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
2. Financial Module Expertise:
• Provide expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Controlling processes, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
• Support the integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
• Conduct detailed testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP solutions.
3. S/4 HANA Migration and Optimization:
• Lead the migration of SAP ECC systems to S/4 HANA, optimizing processes and ensuring a smooth transition.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the SAP FICO landscape, leveraging the capabilities of S/4 HANA.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed.
4. Business Process Analysis:
• Analyze and document current financial processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Design and implement process improvements in the areas of GL, AP, AR, CO, Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP FICO solutions align with overall business strategies.
5. Training and Support:
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and junior consultants, ensuring they have a strong understanding of SAP FICO processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
• Act as a point of contact for SAP FICO-related inquiries and provide ongoing support to ensure the effective use of the system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant with a strong focus on GL, AP, AR, and CO.
• Extensive experience with S/4 HANA and full life-cycle SAP ECC implementations.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing SAP FICO solutions in complex, large-scale environments.
• Experience with Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Deep expertise in SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, CO) and integration with other SAP modules.
• Strong knowledge of S/4 HANA and its capabilities for financial management.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC, with hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP solutions.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies for transitioning to S/4 HANA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in FICO and/or S/4 HANA.
• Experience with SAP integration tools and middleware.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
