The Brewers Association (BA) is the not-for-profit trade association dedicated to small and independent American brewers, their beers, and the community of brewing enthusiasts. The BA represents 5,200-plus U.S. breweries and more than 29,000 homebrewers. The BA's independent craft brewer seal is a widely adopted symbol that differentiates beers from small and independent craft brewers. The BA organizes events, including the Craft Brewers Conference™ & BrewExpo America, World Beer Cup , Great American Beer Festival, American Craft Beer Week and the National Homebrew Competition. The BA publishes The New Brewer and Zymurgy magazines, and Brewers Publications is the leading publisher of brewing literature in the U.S.
The Brewers Association seeks a leader who is passionate about the organization's purpose, mission, core values, and beliefs. This individual wants to be a leader in a robust, entrepreneurial community where collaboration, innovation, and reinvention are highly valued. This dynamic individual will inspire and motivate members, the board, staff, and stakeholders to embrace change and seek new opportunities for members and the association, in an evolving business environment.
The Brewers Association has a team of 57 staff members and an annual budget of approximately $23 million. The Brewers Association owns its office building in downtown Boulder, Colorado.
The annual salary range for this position is between $300,000 and $350,000 and will be commensurable with experience. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus of up to 20%. The Brewers Association has a supportive culture, encourages professional development and is an organization that cares about employee wellbeing. The comprehensive benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage programs, flexible spending plans, and a retirement plan matching up to 7% of salary upon meeting eligibility requirements.
