The Position:

This position plans, directs, and coordinates all sales activities of the organization’s products and/or services within customers defined as National Accounts. This position works closely with senior staff members on corporate matters including planning, policies, and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes individual growth strategies and tactics for each National Account.
  • Responsible for achieving sales growth targets for all National Accounts.
  • Develops and cultivates strong relationships at the corporate and local level for independent key accounts.
  • Travel within the sales territory visiting National Account locations for a minimum of two weeks each month.
  • Attend and work relevant trade shows within National Accounts responsibility. Create and prepare “show specials/promotions” for National Account trade shows.
  • Negotiate contracts with National Account partners.
  • Work with leadership to create and implement pricing structures with National Account partners.
  • Prepares and reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, volume potential, and pricing schedules, and develops sales campaigns to achieve company sales goals.
  • Attends corporate staff meetings and annual corporate planning meetings. Primarily responsible for reporting to senior staff members on sales activities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able and willing to travel throughout North America between 50%-75% (including some weekends). Sales territory is United States.
