HYBRID ROLE: 3x/week in the Tempe, AZ office
About the Role:
The Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Central Data Office (CDO) is responsible for leading the PMO and developing and executing the data product roadmap for the CDO. The role will work closely with the Head of Data and other members of the CDO team to ensure that the data program and data product roadmap is aligned with the overall business strategy and that the PMO is effectively managing the delivery of data products and services.
The Director of the PMO must have a deep understanding of data management principles and practices, as well as experience in program and project management. They must also be able to effectively communicate with and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including senior executives, business users, and IT professionals.

- Lead the development and execution of CDO projects and data product roadmaps
- Manage the PMO team
- Identify and assess new CDO data opportunities
- Coordinate with business units to ensure that data products requirements, business impact, timelines, and acceptance criteria are understood
- Manage the development, launch of data products, and project deliverables
- Monitor and manage risks, issues, and dependencies of CDO roadmaps and deliverables.
- Report on the progress of the CDO's strategic plan to the CDO and other senior executives
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management
- 5+ years of experience in data management
- Experience with data governance, data quality, data security, information systems, and system integrations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
