Job Description

The Assistant Manager -Sales and Business Development is a key team member and plays a pivotal role in accomplishing the Sales and Business Development in executing a company's business development strategy. This dynamic position involves a blend of strategic planning, market analysis, and operational excellence to enhance the company's presence and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the HOD in developing a business development strategy for the assigned region/country, taking up market research and ensuring alignment with market trends and business targets.
  • Accomplish the sales volumes, profitability and business development goals in line with strategic plans to contribute to the company's revenue and market presence.
  • Assist in establishing the company's local presence including building a robust local operation.
  • Provide support in preparing documentation for legal and regulatory requirements in line with the applicable laws and international standards.
  • Engage with local government bodies, business partners, and stakeholders to foster business relationships.
  • Contribute to financial oversight by assisting with budget management, financial forecasting, and achieving profitability goals.
  • Collect relevant business data and prepare comprehensive reports for monitoring and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience of 7 to 12 years with a track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research
  • Computer literacy with a strong analytical ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships

  • Familiarity with the local market, legal compliance, and regulatory standards.
