Job Description
Your Role:
The general role of the Analyst is to work with the Director of Capital Markets and the Head of Capital Markets, focusing on capital markets strategies and execution for all new transactions entering IRE credit pipeline. This person will manage the financing process throughout the life of each credit investment.
What you would be responsible for:
- Analysis of optimal financing terms for potential originations and loan acquisitions of various property types including multi-family, industrial, office, retail, hotel and others such as self-storage, data centers, life science, and single-family rental properties.
- Daily communication and presentation of IRE deals to lending sources to discuss financing terms for the credit pipeline to effectively identify the various financing options available.
- Collaborate with originations and underwriting on pricing and structuring of new originations, based on financing terms.
- Monitor the debt platforms’ liabilities balance sheet, tracking exposure to various debt sources and financing terms (pricing, covenants, maturity).
- Manage the due diligence process with lending sources in conjunction with obtaining financing (i.e. managing legal and diligence closing checklists).
- Assist in preparation of internal/external reporting (working with the relevant legal and accounting teams), board materials, and fundraising materials, related to the debt platform’s leverage strategy.
- Track CMBS, SASB, CRE CLO, and Agency deals with Bloomberg and distribute weekly summary update to the team.
- Coordinate with asset management, portfolio management, loan servicers, and Hyderabad team on post-close items including asset performance reporting and future advance funding requests to lending sources.
- Work with accounting and legal teams to provide necessary audit
- Undergraduate degree is required
- up to 2 years of working experience
- Must be a power user of Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic Argus experience a plus
- Must have excellent writing skills
- Must have strong quantitative analysis skills
- Must have strong organizational and verbal communication skills
