This position will be hybrid work from home and based out of the Cityzen Epicentro office located in Belen, Heredia Province.

Job Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for a proactive collaboration and engagement with cross functional teams to support

business stakeholders to develop data visualization and actionable solutions that enables data-driven decision making. Project

management skills are needed to track milestones and timelines to achieve high quality delivery. Self-motivated individual

that will identify trends and guide others to ensure the Data Strategy and priorities for the key business stakeholders are

fulfilled.

Essential Functions

• Provide in-depth insights by transforming large and complex sets of data into simplified, meaningful, and actionable
  trends and visualizations to support the business
• Actively collaborate with business partners to design automated KPI's and metrics through Tableau visual dashboard with
  high level trends and actionable details supporting metrics and KPI's
• Analyze, design and develop dashboards and/or reports using the framework along with in-depth data testing following
  best practices and guidelines
• Drive business questions into reporting/analytical requirements
• Advocate for improving data quality and availability, test for quality when needed
• Ability to interpret, compare and assess different data sources and create sql data sources (where applicable)
• Establish partnerships with people across multiple disciplines and locations in technical teams and in the business teams
• Actively collaborate with business partners to identify and document data source requirements
• Provide ongoing support of reporting and analytic reports, needs, and changes
• Collaborate cross functionally across multiple levels of the organization
• Present data to business leaders and users to help them make informed decisions
• Train End Users in how to use the tools, and answers questions on reporting and data
• Prioritize individual efforts on the highest value items to achieve business outcomes and high-performance results
• Be creative, curious and innovation with a drive to always be learning and improving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain Operations or related field required (a combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• A minimum of 4 years' progressive experience in a related field required
• Ability to understand and manipulate complex data set from a variety of sources
• Extensive ability to utilize analytical visualization tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI or other analytical visual solutions
• Application of advanced analytical techniques to identify trends in data and recommend courses of action
• Significant knowledge with Supply Chain operational model and ability to relate to stakeholders
• SQL experience required

• Uses technical knowledge and expertise to generate comprehendible, broadly-applicable communications based on new
  and non-typical data
• Designs differentiated technical communications (content focus, style, presentation, etc.) for various internal and
  external audiences based on an understanding of their differing levels of familiarity with technical language
• Serves as an expert in the efficient and effective gathering and organization of data
• Utilizes a strategic approach to plan for the use of complex data to create synergies across teams
• Selects appropriate analytical models and tools to analyze big data sets, develop business recommendations and support
  decision-making
• Utilizes resources to maximize performance and value added; utilizes reports and tools to track operational efficiency
• Identifies processes, activities and tasks that do not add value; suggests improvements that impact the quality of
  products, services and processes
• Constantly works to improve own efficiency; double-checks the accuracy of the output of others to ensure high quality
  delivery
• Guides others to collect information and analyze complex data and business problems
• Identifies trends and uses data-driven insights to make recommendations
• Gains stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests
• Helps customers explore and understand their wider business challenges
• Builds understanding of current business processes, objectives and challenges to suggest solutions and improvements
• Gathers pertinent information about a problem by analyzing data and patterns and identifying underlying issues
• Researches and recommends more detailed solutions to resolve problems
• Implements solutions based on advanced knowledge of standard practices and previous experiences
• Escalates complex or unprecedented issues as needed
