Job Description
Role: Support Engineering is a team within Cybersecurity Engineering team, that owns the change management and ongoing support for our security tools and additionally provides data pipelines for reporting purposes. The role will provide assistance to support our partners and stakeholders who utilize our suite of security tools. You will also partner with our customers in acquiring feedback and feature requests to drive product improvements.
Responsibilities:
Install and support integrations of security software tools with other platform services and products
Support patching, upgrades, and testing of security related software
Partner closely with Global Architecture, Enterprise Platform and Engineering, Cyber Enablement Services, and Cybersecurity Operations to provide product life-cycle management on new and current products.
Setup and support directory service integration of security software tools with our idP
Identify gaps in security policy and administration, recommend solutions, and implement new and revised security standards, while working with partner teams to drive consistency and awareness
Proactively identify and investigate potential issues and patterns in security controls and recommend mitigation strategies with partner teams
Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness across systems
API integration support
Requirements (least 5+ years):
Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
Automation scripting experience in Python, Bash, etc.
Experience with API related technologies such as JSON, REST, Swagger, and Postman
Experience with CI/CD
Experience building IaC practices and automating infrastructure deployment in a repeatable, consistent manner
Working knowledge of security tools Wiz, Cribl, Splunk, MSFT Defender to name a few
Excellent communications skills - ability to engage in deep technical discussions with customers and peers and become a trusted technical advisor
Critical thinking, decision-making and leadership aptitudes
Strong analytical and good interpersonal skills
