RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will drive the digital transformation initiatives of our agency while ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
* A strong background in Federal government projects and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience
* The successful candidate should have a deep understanding of designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure
* A demonstrated track record of designing and implementing innovative solutions to meet the agency's requirements
* Experience with Azure Cloud network infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, DNS configuration, and integration with client on-prem networks
* Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure identity management, and role base access control (RBAC)
* Experience with Azure Analytics Log Workspace, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and logging consolidation and monitoring
* Experience with Azure DevOps and developing CI/CD pipelines
* Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, App Services, and Security Center
* Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments
* Deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, VNETs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancers
* Familiarity with Kubernetes in Azure is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
