This leadership role is essential to ensuring the production of premium-quality cannabis products while maintaining compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the cultivation process, from propagation to harvest
- Lead and manage the grow team, ensuring high performance, adherence to protocols, and collaboration
- Monitor and optimize plant health, nutrient schedules, and environmental conditions to maximize yield and quality
- Develop and implement cultivation strategies and schedules to meet production goals
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements
- Manage Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs and troubleshoot plant health issues
- Maintain clean, organized, and contaminant-free cultivation areas
- Mentor and train grow team members to develop skills and ensure consistent best practices across the operation
- Analyze operational data to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement
- At least 5 years of cannabis cultivation experience, with a proven track record of success
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams in a cultivation or related setting
- Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) Marijuana Handler’s Permit
- Deep knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, including hydroponic systems and pest management
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet production demands
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in record-keeping and reporting
- A passion for cultivating high-quality cannabis and advancing industry standards
- Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to team management
