We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

We are looking to recruit for an International Education Manager for Iberia, that will be responsible for the promotion of qualifications and educational resources in Spain and Portugal. You will generate interest by visiting key decision-makers and holding meetings in schools and public institutions in the region, in addition to attending events and conferences to promote the specified lists and qualifications.

About The Role

You will be responsible for growing the activity of Cambridge International Education in Iberia. The International Education Manager will focus on a project to manage the relationship with the Ministry of Education in Spain and Portugal and the Consejería de Educación in the different autonomic regions with the aim to prospect new schools to implement Cambridge International exams.

In addition, you will work closely with the recognition team to serve as link between Cambridge and universities located in Iberia to support with admission to higher education for Cambridge International qualifications.

The IEM will collaborate with the wider Europe Sales team, supporting with attendance of Iberia and Europe-wide conferences and events. This role requires travel throughout the territory. The ideal candidate is an independent player able to manage their own work on a day-to-day basis, setting priorities and keeping CRM data up to date.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese education systems and with international education.
  • Be a Native speaker (or C2) of one of the languages spoken in Iberia (Spanish, Portuguese), along with excellent proven English language skills (C1+).
  • Have the ability to develop ongoing relationships with customers at a senior level as well as with other stakeholders.
  • Possess proven business development experience in an education context.
  • Have attention to detail and accuracy and ensuring that schools receive a quick response to all correspondence.
  • Hold a driving licence and be experienced in organising local and international trips.
