Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IFS Finance Consultant with a strong background in data migration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in finance modules within IFS Applications and proven experience in managing and executing data migration projects. The role involves collaborating with client to analyse, Plan, and ensure the accurate migration of financial data. Additionally, the consultant will provide training and ongoing support to optimize the use of IFS for financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Process Analysis:
• Work closely with clients to understand their financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Conduct detailed business process analysis to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Align client financial processes with IFS functionalities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Data Migration:
• Manage the end-to-end data migration process for financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data architects and technical teams to develop and execute data migration strategies.
• Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for migrating financial data from legacy systems to IFS.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks post-migration to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Solution Design & Customization:
• Provide expert advice on IFS financial modules and design solutions tailored to client needs.
• Customize IFS finance modules to address unique client requirements while ensuring future scalability.
• Develop functional specifications for custom financial reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Training & Support:
• Conduct training sessions for client finance teams and key stakeholders to ensure effective use of IFS Finance modules.
• Provide post-implementation support, addressing any issues or questions related to finance processes and data migration.
• Create comprehensive user manuals, training materials, and documentation to support the implementation and data migration processes.
• Project Coordination:
• Work collaboratively with technical teams, project managers, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to engage stakeholders and secure buy-in.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay current with the latest IFS updates, financial trends, data migration tools, and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to existing IFS finance implementations and data migration processes.
• Participate in IFS community events, webinars, and training sessions to maintain expertise.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, IFS Certification) is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with IFS Applications, specifically in Finance modules.
• Proven experience in managing and executing data migration projects in an ERP environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience in business process reengineering and change management.
• Skills:
• Proficient in configuring and customizing IFS Finance modules.
• Strong expertise in data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IFS Cloud implementations and data migration.
• Experience in Migration of Data from Maximo and Oracle ERP to IFS.
• Knowledge of other IFS modules such as Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, and HR.
• Familiarity with financial analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience with ETL tools and data migration platforms.
