Job Description:
Collaborate closely with the Insights Senior Manager to identify, manage, and execute all Voice of Customer initiatives, with a strong focus on the Voice of Consumer. This role involves leading and supporting research planning, execution, analysis, and reporting to guide key product road mapping and new product development decisions. The position requires frequent presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, and extensive collaboration to ensure flawless project execution and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and execution of custom qualitative and quantitative customer research, focusing on supporting advanced innovation and product development insights.
  • Synthesize findings from primary and secondary research and internal data to identify gaps, customer needs, and critical context for better decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Influence stakeholders by presenting large amounts of information in concise, visually impactful insights.
  • Create customized reports for individual stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop research stimuli, understand user needs, test assumptions, and iterate on new concepts.
  • Monitor mega trends, market signals, macro forces, and category trends to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a network of partner agencies and experiment with new tools to gain deeper and more agile insights.
  • Coordinate and moderate field tests and in-home consumer use tests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing Research, Social Sciences, Design Research, or Consumer Behavior preferred but not required.
  • Over five years of experience in marketing research.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and selecting external research suppliers.
  • Experience presenting and influencing senior management and C-level executives.
  • Project management experience, including prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with B2C durable goods and B2B.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking.
  • Experience with Qualtrics.
