Location: Quincy, MA (100% Onsite)

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (with benefits)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced project scheduler with expertise in P6 scheduling and Microsoft Project within the construction industry. This role is pivotal to the successful planning, execution, and timely delivery of large-scale construction projects. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Field Operations, the Project Scheduler will collaborate with project teams, trade partners, and consultants to ensure schedules are efficiently managed, baselined, and competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule Development: Assist in creating and reviewing both pre-bid and post-award CPM schedules per owner requirements.

Project Narratives: Develop detailed project narratives based on input from project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams.

Schedule Updates: Maintain and update Microsoft Project schedules with monthly activity progress in coordination with project teams.

Consultant Coordination: Work with external project schedule consultants to meet deadlines and manage schedule revisions and updates.

Schedule Reviews: Participate in schedule review meetings, maintain minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Preconstruction Support: Assist in RFP and proposal schedule development for preconstruction and bid opportunities.

Site Visits: Travel to project sites to support project teams and ensure alignment on scheduling requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Strong experience in construction project management with a focus on project scheduling.

Proficient in Microsoft Project and knowledgeable in P6 scheduling techniques.

Technical Skills:

In-depth understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.

Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment: This role is 100% onsite at our Quincy, MA, office, with occasional visits to project sites across Massachusetts.
