We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead a Quality Assurance team, ensuring compliance with FAA, AS9100, and key customer standards. You'll define and implement quality processes and oversee inspection activities to maintain industry-leading product quality throughout its lifecycle.



What you should have to be successful:

  • Set goals and manage the Quality Assurance team, including performance reviews and salary administration.
  • Coordinate customer and regulatory audits, including gap analyses for specification changes.
  • Drive quality improvements through training, metrics, and efficient processes.
  • Implement systems to track and act on quality metrics, focusing resources where needed.
  • Monitor and address risks with structured, evidence-based solutions.
  • Develop and refine policies to enhance productivity while ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide regular updates on quality metrics.
  • Oversee First Article Inspections and inspector certification.
  • Manage equipment calibration and support engineering during new product development.
  • Coordinate nonconforming material control and supervise the Material Review Board.
  • Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors, support supplier qualification, and oversee supplier audits.
  • Ensure internal audits and corrective actions are completed and respond to customer requests for corrective action.





What experience you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years in Quality Assurance within a regulated manufacturing environment, including 2 years in a supervisory role and at least 2 years in a manufacturing Quality Engineering role.
  • Experience in electronics and/or mechanical aerospace industries preferred.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and software development, a plus.
  • AS9102 First Article Requirements, blueprints, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009).





What skills the client prefers:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Background in precision machining.
  • FAA certified DMIR or strong knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Experience with APQP, brazing, and welding standards
  • ASQ Certification in Quality Engineering.
