We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level GIS Technician / GIS Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various GIS projects using ESRI and ArcGIS mapping software. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and updating of GIS databases and maps.
- Perform spatial data analysis and generate reports to support project requirements.
- Collect, process, and integrate spatial data from various sources.
- Utilize ESRI and ArcGIS software to create high-quality maps and visualizations.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project needs and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in ESRI and ArcGIS software.
- Basic understanding of GIS principles, spatial data, and mapping techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 2 weeks accrued PTO, 48 hours sick pay, 6 paid Federal Holidays.
