As a Continuous Improvement Manager at Shipt, you will combine learnings about Shipt processes and technology with data-driven insights in order to drive strategy and support implementation of new processes and app changes. This role will help implement and maintain feedback loops and audit programs, as well as address issues that arise alongside process changes. Experience in stakeholder management, project management, performance reporting, and data analysis will be relevant to this role.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • 5+ years experience including leadership and/or management role(s) in an operations environment
  • Learn new processes quickly and challenge process gaps in real time, all while building strong working relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Confident in data analysis and quickly digesting large amounts of data to meaningful insights, through advanced Excel use or comparable software. Ability to run SQL queries with adjustments and format into usable data.
  • Create and maintain clear, user-friendly process documentation: process maps, training documentation, defect definition, graphical representations of KPIs, templated tools/tracking documents as needed to transfer process ownership back to appropriate stakeholders
  • Strong ability to follow in-the-weeds conversations and translate technical information and data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Grow the continuous improvement culture at Shipt through thoughtful implementation of Lean/Six Sigma’s basic principles
  • Ability to travel 10-25% of the time. Could grow to 50% of the time

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City:

$86,357-$172,715

All other locations:

$72,035-$143,964

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
