  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Description:
Our Client is looking for skilled Mechanical CAD Professionals to design fixturing and test equipment, as well as generate and review mechanical system documentation. The role involves working primarily on U.S. Government-funded programs. The ideal candidate should have experience developing technical data packages in line with MIL-STD-31000 principles, including ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing, and Product Lifecycle Management. Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or CREO is essential. Experience with the 3DX Product Lifecycle Management tool is highly preferred.

Candidates will support multiple projects simultaneously and must possess strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Effective communication with multidisciplinary program team members and leadership, including non-technical personnel, is crucial.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in 3D CAD design and 2D drawing production using SolidWorks and/or CREO
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-31000
  • Strong understanding of ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Solid grasp of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in drafting, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in a defense contracting environment

    Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
