Program Manager

Description

Robert Half is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Manager to join local client in the Food and Beverage Industry on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will oversee the tactical planning and day-to-day management of IT programs and drive complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a focus on data integration, optimization, and master data management.

This position is remote but offers a hybrid option for candidates local to Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee tactical planning and manage daily operations for one or more programs within the IT portfolio.
• Collaborate with IT and business leadership on program-level strategic planning and roadmap alignment.
• Assist in creating business cases, return on investment (ROI) assessments, and project ideation.
• Manage assigned projects with a clear understanding of business objectives and IT context.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts such as forecasts, project plans, detailed budgets, and timelines.
• Lead and drive cross-functional, globally distributed teams on enterprise-level initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of projects with program goals and strategic objectives.
• Provide project management, including developing and executing project plans, schedules, RACI charts, resource allocation, and communication plans.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
• Work closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners for Agile project management.
• Ensure that project status reports are clear, transparent, and add value for stakeholders.
• Actively manage project financials, including budget and forecasting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Program Manager in a technology or software development environment.
• Proven experience with data optimization, enabling data-focused enterprise solutions, and data governance.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and managing complex, integrated platforms.
• Experience with master data management, data integration, and cloud-based enterprise solutions.
• Strong financial management skills, including ownership of project budgets and forecasting.
• Proactive, detail-oriented leader capable of navigating ambiguity and complex environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• PMP and Scrum Master certifications are preferred.

Technology Requirements:

• Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience with master data management, data ingestion/syndication
• Focus on data integration and optimization in enterprise systems

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• PMP, PgMP, or Scrum Master certifications preferred
