We're looking for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, has a strong work ethic, and can handle our fast-paced environment. Familiarity with QA testing, usability testing, software development, project management, product management, and/or i18n concepts is a preferred, as well as experience working in a tech company. The Product Insights Programs team has the mission to ensure that products across our Family of Apps are running without issues in local conditions, to gather local insights from local people, and to execute on international growth opportunities. As a Testing Coordinator, you will work in setting up and running functional, payments, and usability tests, which enable product teams to easily gather insights from international markets. You will be an internal advocate for people worldwide ensuring our products feel local for people around the world.
It involves working with a wide range of teams and vendors to drive the development of products and features that work well in diverse environments and are locally relevant. The ideal candidate is able to facilitate our teams' best work by managing short- and long-term projects and initiatives, proactively anticipating project issues and resolving them, and removing barriers to doing great work. As a Testing Coordinator, you will be an expert in problem-solving and multitasking, while building long-term relationships with partner teams. This role requires project management experience, excellent communication skills, ability to manage complex logistics, and a highly organized approach.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage functionality, payments, and usability tests end-to-end, in coordination with product teams (engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers), cross-functional partners (QA, the Internationalization team) and testing vendors.
  • Track and move testing initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders and many moving parts.
  • Communicate issues related to staying on schedule and propose solutions to remedy the issue.
Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager, program manager, QA analyst, automation engineer, usability researcher, data analyst, or similar role working in tech.
  • Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment that requires time management, task prioritization skills, ability to identify problems and work towards solutions.
  • Ability to process and analyze data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions.
Preferred Qualification:
  • BA/BS in engineering, computer science, data science, psychology/sociology, related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with i18n concepts and practices.
  • Experience working with QA, usability research, product management, or working with product teams.
  • Familiarity with the software development process.
  • Knowledge of additional languages (other than English).

  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
