Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis and Process Engineering:

• Current-State Process Modeling (1.5 months):
  Lead multiple departments in process modeling for the current state, including process flows, role definition, and identification of role gaps in reservation and permitting processes.
• Future-State Process Modeling (1.5 months):
  Collaborate with subject matter experts and platform implementers to design future-state process models. Develop operational procedures and documentation reflecting platform utilization and best practices for a self-service experience.
• Gap Analysis and Recommendation Development:
  Work closely with project sponsors and customers to prioritize process gaps and recommend changes to improve business processes and platform automation.
• Platform Submission Flow and Self-Service:
  Define the platform's submission flows and communication methods to deliver a seamless and informed self-service experience for both constituents and vendors.

2. Test Execution (2-3 months):

• Test Management Plan Development:
  Create a comprehensive Test Management Plan using the IST Project Management Office template.
• Requirements Refinement for Testing:
  Collaborate with the business and vendors to refine requirements, ensuring clarity and testability.
• Oversight and Guidance in Test Script Development:
  Provide oversight to business test leads in developing manual test scripts for functionality, interface, and data testing. Ensure high-quality test scripts that meet project standards.
• Test Plan Execution:
  Work with the project manager, third-party implementer, and department teams to ensure successful execution of the test plan and test scenarios.
