Review and processing of all change requests to ensure proper thoroughness, prioritization (risk and impact), scheduling, and compliance with the PTC Change Management Process within the BMC Remedy ITSM Application.

• Provide assistance with updating and maintaining Change Management templates, system user access, training users concerning the use of the Change Management tools and processes.
• First level support for general change management questions and processing of requests.
• Prepare and communicate weekly change broadcasts and communications to the Change community.
• Build strong relationships with PTC stakeholders
• Minimum requirements of role
• Must have basic understanding of information technology principles, and an understanding of mid-tier applications, database, and telecommunications systems.
• Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of IT Service Management best practices.
• General ITIL Configuration Management and Release Management skills are helpful.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred requirements of role

• Experience applying ITIL centric change management processes and tools to support change request activity from various application, operational, and development support groups.
• Experience with Change Management tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
• Experience with querying information, and developing reports using reporting tools such as Tableau, SAP Business Objects, etc.
• Highly desired - Experience with PowerBI report development and report querying skills.
• Functional knowledge of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) as well as conceptual relationship of configuration items

Preferred Skillsets

• Looking for someone to ensure/enforce change management policy and make sure everyone is in compliance
• Looking for good organizational and communication skills
• Reporting skills (Power BI) would be helpful
• Other ITSM background roles other than change management can be considered; Not looking for a developer or a manager, looking for more of an analyst who is ok with repetitive work
• This is an IT change management position and not an organizational change management role
• Will work hand in hand with configuration and deployment teams
• Team currently uses Tableau but is looking to migrate into other spaces eventually
• People with any type of ticketing experience tend to do well in this role
• Looking to interview/onboard immediately; Will likely be 1 interview, 45 minute in person
• Looking to start interview late Sep/early October
• Looking for minimum 1-year experience
