Supports Clario Operations and Science Teams by utilizing analytical and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data sets. Develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges by developing requirements, gathering requirements/specifications, executing data transformation logic, and coordinating with key stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure data collection and analytics support future business and team goals.
  • Analyze data sets and support in implementing data driven solutions focused on deep insights, improving efficiency, operational needs and creating value.
  • Ensures data completeness and accuracy through developing and implementing data quality checks.
  • Assesses the effectiveness, quality and accuracy of data sources and data platforms.
  • Support data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic solutions
  • Provides ad-hoc analysis, the development of data reports, interactive dashboards and data visualizations as needed that provide business insights, creates business value and presents results in a clear manner.
  • Coordinates multiple sources of data for file transformation, processing, and proper documentation and quality control across assigned projects.
  • Troubleshooting on operational issues that directly impacted by data related aspects of the system.
  • Supports the internal set-up, configuration, data integration, and quality control of data platforms including data warehouses, operational data stores, data lakes and more.
  • Communicates effectively within team, stakeholders, and other operations personnel on the successful execution of data analysis, deliverables and escalates issues to ensure timely delivery.

  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”).
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards.

  • Helping others to achieve results.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Maintains Technical And Industry Knowledge By

  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored and industry training.
  • Self-directed learning of applicable tools, processes, and industry standards

Education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Science, Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science (programming), Information Technology or business discipline or related experience preferred

Experience

  • 2+ years of Data aggregation, analysis, and processing experience preferred
  • Experience/Knowledge
    • Statistical course work, background or experience
    • Writing SQL queries preferred
    • Programming with Python (preferred), R or other programming language
    • Data visualization, data analysis and dashboard creation
      • Utilizing software such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
    • CRO / Clinical Trial / Life Science experience preferred
  • Additional skill set:
    • Highly motivated self-starter. A drive to learn and master new technologies, techniques, and data sources.
    • Strong problem-solving skills. Flexible. Adaptable.
    • Proficient ability to manipulate, analyze and perform computations.
    • Ability to work in agile operational environments.
    • Be accountable for the timely deliverables meeting all quality goals.
    • Hands-on knowledge of current technology standards/trends coupled with a desire to continually expand personal knowledge/skills.
    • Strong understanding of database structure, concepts and principles.
    • Ability to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous situations.
    • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with other business and technology leaders.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to tailor communication to all levels of an organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to debate ideas/strategy, comfortable managing constructive conflict, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
    • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
