Benefits Analyst

Job Title:	Pension Analyst
Duration:	03 Months+ (Contract-to-Hire)
Location:	Remote but available to go onsite if needed.

Notes:

• Hybrid position: Candidate can be located anywhere within a reasonable distance of a Client s office and available to go onsite if needed.
• Ideal candidate will have Benefit experience and call center experience.
• Able to multitask.
• Knowledge of (QMCSOs), (QDROs), and Power of Attorney (POA) is a Plus

The Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, retirement, or consulting with a focus on plan administration, or recordkeeping or call center experience is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in professional services firm or legal environment preferred, but not required.
• General knowledge of defined contribution (401(k)) plans and/or defined benefit plans is preferred, but not required.
• General knowledge of IRC, ERISA and other relevant laws and regulations affecting employee benefit plans is preferred, but not required.
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate
• Natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
• Respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
• Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues, strong client service orientation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to work both independently and on client teams who enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Sense of accountability; owning one s work and taking pride in it
• Proven experience successfully working on multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time
• Associates degree preferred but will consider candidates with relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
